Well, we finally arrived in London!  It was a largely uneventful 26 hours of flights and waiting for flights (2hrs to Melbourne, 14hrs to Dubai and 7+ to London... 3hrs waiting).

On arrival, we started ticking the 'must do' boxes: caught the Underground from the airport (strangely the train spent most of the trip above the ground); caught a London Cab (ie the unique black cab); and had dinner at a Pub (the Stanhope Arms... quite nice old world charm... it has been open since 1730).

We then slept very, very well!!

    Woohoo! Love London! Mind the Gap! Icons everywhere. It's like stepping into a real life Monopoly game and just like Monopoly you can spend weeks there and never get to the end. Astonishing history. Enjoy.
